UtiliSave LLC is hiring a full-time Marketing Content Associate for a remote role based in New York, NY. You will help build a B-to-B content engine that supports brand authority, lead generation, and performance improvements across multiple channels. The position includes strong benefits coverage, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year with potential for an increase based on demonstrated proficiency in role-critical skills.
What you’ll do
- Learn and understand business processes to create customer-focused content that supports key initiatives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing content strategies aligned with company goals, including posts, social content, campaigns, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Lead brand-facing content creation while maintaining consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
- Own digital campaign content aligned with business objectives, including SEO/SEM, paid media (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), email marketing, and website performance with the goal of increasing brand awareness and lead generation.
- Conduct and supervise research on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity, translating findings into content opportunities.
- Support PR and authority-building efforts through content for PR opportunities, speaking engagements, and partnerships.
- Track and analyze content results from testing and optimize ongoing content based on performance.
- Act as a brand guardian for written and created content across internal and external communications.
- Monitor content performance and refine content accordingly where optimization is not already clearly specified.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in content creation.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, paid media, SEO/SEM, and performance analytics to inform content decisions.
- Self-starter approach with proactive and creative thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with AI-assisted writing tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar tools.
- B2B writing experience, including case studies, white papers, and thought leadership content.
- Portfolio or writing samples required.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva and Photoshop, plus video editing software.
- Experience using marketing automation platforms such as Replay.io, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar tools.
- Experience with website management: WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and handle tight deadlines.
- Ability to independently solve problems and think creatively.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

Remote work requirements

- You must be a resident in the United States living in a state with no more than a one (1) hour time difference from Eastern Standard Time.
