Hudson Valley Lighting Group is hiring an Email Marketing Manager to lead customer-facing email and SMS programs across its brand portfolio from the office in Wappingers Falls, NY. In this onsite role, you will plan, build, and optimize campaigns and automated journeys that support product launches, promotions, events, lead generation, and retention.
You will partner across marketing, business development, and creative to ensure messaging is timely, engaging, and measurable, while managing segmentation, testing, deliverability, and reporting through HubSpot and Klaviyo. This position also includes hands-on platform work in HubSpot Marketing Hub, including workflows, forms, audience strategy, QA, deployment, and performance tracking.
Role Overview
- Strategize, develop, and execute customer-facing email and SMS programs across all HVLG brands.
- Own campaign planning and execution, automated customer journeys, segmentation, testing, and performance optimization as part of the broader digital marketing strategy.
- Write and refine engaging, educational email copy and subject lines.
- Use Figma to review email designs with creative services and support an efficient creative workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to develop and execute email and SMS strategies for HVLG brands.
- Create and manage the customer-facing email and SMS marketing calendar for launches, promotions, events, lead generation, and retention.
- Oversee customer-facing email and SMS campaigns, including program updates.
- Plan and implement approaches to increase open rates and engagement.
- Personalize the customer journey and optimize each touchpoint across the customer lifecycle.
- Build, manage, and optimize automated email and SMS journeys for all business divisions.
- Define and implement audience segmentation and personalization strategies in HubSpot and Klaviyo.
- Act as a hands-on HubSpot Marketing Hub user for the marketing team, including campaign setup, segmentation, workflows, forms, lead-nurture programs, QA, deployment, and reporting.
- Partner with CRM and business development teams on list health, data quality, consent management, and accurate segmentation aligned with data-governance processes.
- Develop and implement a rigorous testing process, including A/B testing.
- Track email and SMS goals and performance metrics, convert results into actionable insights, and report daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Monitor digital trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot campaign, deliverability, workflow, tracking, and platform issues.
- Support landing page and form strategy and execution to improve conversion rates and lead generation.
- Oversee freelancers and third-party vendors as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on email marketing experience.
- Significant hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub and HubSpot CRM, including workflows, lists, segmentation, forms, campaigns, and reporting.
- Experience with Klaviyo and Attentive (or comparable email and SMS platforms).
- Experience with Asana (or other project management platforms).
- Experience developing, building, testing, and tracking automated email and SMS journeys.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to balance long- and short-term deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and producing accurate, high-quality work under deadlines.
- Proficiency with Figma; working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Ability to take direction, use sound judgment, and see projects through to completion.
- Reliable commute to Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.

Compensation
- $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
