The Clorox Company is seeking a Product Operations Manager to help turn defined product direction for Consumer Data and Marketing Technology into coordinated, delivery-ready execution. In this hybrid role in Durham, you will partner across product, technology, data, privacy, security, and vendor teams to refine requirements, manage delivery workflows, and support end-to-end platform integration through validation, launch, and ongoing operations.
You will be responsible for building executable plans from prioritized scope, strengthening backlog intake and traceability, and aligning stakeholders through planning sessions, documentation, and clear decision-making. The focus is practical program delivery and operational rigor across integrations, governance requirements, and reusable implementation practices.
Responsibilities
- Translate Product Owner direction, prioritized scope, and high-level requirements into executable delivery plans and actionable workstreams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Marketing, Technology, Data, Privacy, Security, Procurement, agencies, and external partners to deliver successful outcomes.
- Run intake and delivery workflow management, including backlog quality, Jira workflows, Confluence documentation, and end-to-end requirement traceability.
- Develop detailed requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, documented business rules, process documentation, and validation scenarios, escalating gaps to the Product Owner and technical partners as needed.
- Identify delivery needs, dependencies, risks, and required approvals using working knowledge of platform capabilities, implementation patterns, and governance requirements.
- Lead project planning and working sessions to align stakeholders, remove blockers, communicate progress, and maintain accountability.
- Resolve delivery-level ambiguity within established direction through coordination, practical problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Coordinate platform administration and the integration lifecycle, including access, taxonomy implementation, data mapping, environment readiness, testing, launch, monitoring, support, migration, and offboarding, following established governance and vendor onboarding processes.
- Maintain documentation for integrations, data flows, business rules, support processes, and reusable implementation practices.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, governance, and vendor teams to investigate issues, evaluate solutions, and validate end-to-end delivery.
- Track project health, milestones, and delivery outcomes, and escalate decisions impacting scope, priorities, business rules, governance, architecture, or specialized technical topics to the appropriate owners.
- Continuously improve operational processes, templates, workflows, and delivery standards to increase efficiency and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, program delivery, business systems analysis, marketing technology, data platforms, or a related field.
- Experience turning defined business or product direction into delivery plans, detailed requirements and work items, acceptance criteria, process documentation, validation scenarios, or implementation activities.
- Proven track record coordinating cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholders, matrixed teams, and external vendors or partners.
- Experience managing complex programs with timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and implementation readiness activities.
- Experience applying repeatable implementation patterns, operating procedures, and governance requirements to new or related delivery scenarios.
- Hands-on experience supporting digital, MarTech, consumer data, or technology platform implementations, including integrations and operational readiness activities.
- Strong problem-solving and execution skills, including the ability to move work forward with limited oversight while knowing when escalation is required.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including translating technical, business, and data concepts for diverse audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and understand platform capabilities, data integrations, and governance requirements without being the primary engineer or architect.
