Marketing Manager I

The Marketing Manager I role is a contract position for a remote team member based in Amherst, NY, with an emphasis on the banking industry. This position oversees the development and execution of marketing and communications campaigns tied to business goals.

Role Overview

As Marketing Manager I, you will lead campaign development and implementation, including planning, messaging, project execution, and performance evaluation. The role focuses on aligning marketing activities with organizational objectives while ensuring initiatives meet applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess marketing and communication needs using business objectives, then develop campaign themes, messaging, and strategies.
• Own marketing and communication projects from concept through execution, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment to business goals.
• Review and evaluate campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations to improve future initiatives.
• Support campaign budget development and management, coordinating cross-functional project teams and resources as needed.
• Ensure marketing efforts align with risk, regulatory, compliance, and internal control standards, while maintaining an inclusive environment that reflects the organization’s brand and values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing marketing campaigns in a client or agency environment.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial domain, preferably Consumer Lending.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in previous end-to-end campaign execution, primarily email campaigns.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in project management.
