Content Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Embarc Advisors is hiring a full-time, remote Content Marketing Specialist in Myrtle Point, OR to shape finance-focused thought leadership and LinkedIn marketing that drives qualified conversations.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and refine long-form thought leadership including articles, market commentary, sector perspectives, and point-of-view pieces covering M&A, diligence, and CFO-level topics
- Ghostwrite for the Managing Partner and practice leaders, capturing each voice distinctly (no house-style filler)
- Create case studies and client success narratives from completed engagements within confidentiality constraints
- Develop sales enablement materials: capability decks, one-pagers, service-line collateral, proposal language, and email sequences
- Build and maintain the editorial calendar aligned to quarterly rocks and practice-group priorities
- Interview partners and clients to gather original insight and sustain a steady pipeline of ideas
- Own the Embarc company page end to end: posting cadence, audience growth, engagement, and analytics
- Plan and execute paid LinkedIn campaigns including Lead Gen Forms, Sponsored Content, and Thought Leader Ads; construct audiences using title, firmographic, and sponsor/intermediary segment
- Run targeted campaigns for referral-source audiences including private equity business development professionals, lenders, attorneys, wealth advisors, and other intermediaries
- Monitor competitor and peer-firm positioning to identify white space in the conversation
- Produce on-brand visual assets in Canva: social graphics, carousels, report covers, event materials, and web imagery
- Build and format presentations in PowerPoint to the firm’s visual standards
- Convert data and financial analysis into clean, readable charts and infographics
- Maintain brand asset libraries, templates, and style guidance to support quality at scale
- Support HubSpot execution: email builds, workflows, lists, landing pages, and forms
- Prioritize marketing data hygiene and reporting integrity with practice-group segmentation preserved
- Assist with weekly marketing scorecard reporting including MQLs, SQLs, source attribution, content performance, and page and channel metrics; communicate the “why” alongside results
- Assist with webinars, conference presence, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities including logistics through follow-up
- Maintain and improve the website with content updates plus SEO and AEO fundamentals
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in marketing, content, or communications, with direct experience in one or more of: investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or professional services supporting those markets
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong business writing; samples required and reviewed closely
- Working fluency in corporate finance concepts and deal process
- Hands-on LinkedIn marketing experience spanning organic strategy and paid campaign management
- Proficiency with a marketing automation/CRM platform; HubSpot strongly preferred
- Practical design capability in Canva plus advanced PowerPoint
- Comfort operating with autonomy in a lean environment and owning outcomes

Compensation & Location

- Salary: USD 65,000–80,000 per year
