What is the opportunity?

Become part of the Global Content Marketing Team within Global Asset Management. You will play a key role in originating, producing, distributing, and measuring investment marketing content across diverse media. As an Associate Director for Content Marketing, you will lead content creation for the US market and help accelerate the global evolution of the content function, elevating RBC GAM’s engagement with targeted audiences.

What will you do?

Collaborate with Investment, Distribution, and Marketing teams to produce high impact thought leadership across print, digital, and video channels, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and client needs.
Refresh evergreen materials such as webpages and whitepapers to keep content current.
Leverage and adapt content from other offices to maximize reach and relevance.
Own editorial calendars, ensure timely delivery, track impact, and manage stakeholder engagement.
Work proactively with Investment and Distribution stakeholders to define client needs, key messages, and calls to action before production, ensuring these are reflected in output.
Apply insights and AI tools across media types and geographies, coordinating with global teams to accelerate cross-regional content leverage.
Partner with Digital and Marketing teams to analyze content performance, share insights, and identify optimization opportunities such as campaign effectiveness or A/B testing results.
Pilot new content formats, technologies, and distribution tactics to stay ahead of industry trends, demonstrating efficiency gains through AI.

Must-Have

10+ years of experience leading the creation of investment insights within asset management, with deep knowledge of investment markets and decision making, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Investment strategy experience across fixed income, equities, and alternatives.
Proven ability to originate audience-appropriate content independently and translate complex investment concepts into clear, engaging, visually compelling material for institutional and intermediary audiences across multiple geographies.
Strong output capacity, problem-solving agility, and success thriving in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
Ability to lead stakeholder engagement and collaborate with multiple audiences to achieve shared objectives, with autonomy to drive initiatives.
Experience deploying AI tools for content optimization and a growth mindset for testing emerging trends.
Working understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks across jurisdictions, particularly in the US; familiarity with other geographies is a plus.

Job Description

QXO is seeking a Director of Social Media Marketing to build and steer its enterprise social program from the ground up. This onsite role in Greenwich, CT partners with the CEO and senior leadership to elevate executive presence, bolster employer branding, amplify culture visibility, and drive thought leadership across major platforms including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging channels. The position offers a salary range of $150,000 to $185,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead QXO’s enterprise social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms
Create and manage a scalable social content calendar aligned with company priorities, campaigns, recruiting initiatives, and executive communications
Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to elevate executive presence and thought leadership on social channels
Collaborate with Creative & Production teams to produce compelling multimedia content, including video, motion graphics, photography, and short-form formats
Work with Digital Marketing to align paid and organic social efforts and optimize audience growth and engagement
Develop social storytelling strategies that strengthen employer brand, culture visibility, and corporate reputation
Establish social media governance, brand standards, approval workflows, and best practices across the organization
Monitor social trends, cultural moments, and competitive activity to identify timely engagement opportunities

Requirements

10+ years of experience in social media marketing, brand marketing, digital content, or corporate communications
Experience building or leading social media functions for high-growth, enterprise, B2B, technology, media, or consumer-facing brands
Proven ability to develop executive thought leadership and corporate storytelling strategies
Strong understanding of platform-specific content strategies, audience engagement, analytics, and emerging social trends
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, production, communications, recruiting, and executive leadership teams
Exceptional writing, editorial, and content development skills
Strong analytical mindset with experience using social media analytics and reporting tools
Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving environment
Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid growth
Experience supporting founder-led or executive-driven brands
Experience managing social media during periods of transformation, growth, or M&A activity
Familiarity with paid social strategy and social listening platforms
Video-first storytelling and content production experience
