Job Description

based in Philadelphia with a hybrid work model, this permanent, full-time role centers on coordinating insight-led content and thought leadership for Life Sciences & Healthcare. You will turn strategic priorities, SME input, and market context into clear, structured content and ensure timely delivery. You will operate within a global, cross-functional team and collaborate with product leaders, data scientists, consultants, marketing and sales colleagues, and therapy-area experts, under the direction of a Senior Director, Marketing based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Lead thought leadership planning and execution by building and managing a structured program aligned to strategic growth areas, priority solutions, and target audiences across R&D, Commercial, and MedTech segments.
  • Coordinate input from subject matter experts and business leaders to translate priorities and market insights into clear content briefs and coherent narratives.
  • Manage end-to-end content delivery, overseeing long‑form and short‑form thought leadership to ensure coordinated, measurable outputs aligned with agreed plans.
  • Own editorial planning and the content calendar, creating an integrated, multi‑channel schedule that remains aligned to business priorities.
  • Support content creation and quality by contributing to writing and editing as needed and guiding internal and external writing resources to maintain consistency and standards.
  • Ensure alignment across product, marketing, sales, and subject matter experts to deliver a cohesive approach to thought leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in thought leadership, editorial, journalism, or strategic communications roles.
  • Proven ability to design and manage structured content plans that reflect business priorities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating content development across multiple contributors, formats, and channels.
  • Proven skill in translating SME input, market trends, and strategic priorities into clear content plans, briefs, and narratives.
  • Strong track record delivering both long-form and short-form content (eg, executive articles, bylined pieces, editorial outputs) in a business setting.
  • Experience managing editorial calendars and end-to-end content pipelines (planning, execution, delivery).
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop content aligned to commercial or strategic objectives.

About the team

You will report to a Senior Director, Marketing, based in London, and be part of a global team dispersed across multiple locations. You will collaborate with product leaders, data scientists, consultants, marketing and sales teams, communications, and therapy-area experts across Clarivate to deliver high-impact, insight-led content aligned to business priorities.

Hours of work

This is a permanent, full-time position following a hybrid working model.
