Job Description

At KGS LLC, the Sr Technical Product Marketing Manager owns the technical narrative and content strategy for Amazon Leo's public sector offerings. This onsite role in Arlington, VA collaborates with product, engineering, sales, and GTM teams to translate deep technical capability into messaging that resonates with technical decision-makers across civil, defense, and SLED markets. The position carries a salary range of USD 157,100 to 212,600 per year and requires a minimum of six years of professional marketing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical positioning and convert complex satellite and networking technology into messaging that differentiates Leo's public sector solutions for technical decision makers across industries.
  • Produce a suite of technical content including solution briefs, whitepapers, reference architectures, deployment guides, thought leadership pieces, demo scripts, RFP templates, and executive presentations.
  • Develop and maintain technical sales enablement assets that empower field teams to engage technical buyers with confidence.
  • Collaborate with product management and GTM teams to drive technical marketing workstreams for product launches, including naming, audience definition, technical messaging, and content execution.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to build deep understanding of technical buyer needs, evaluation criteria, and decision-making processes across target industries.
  • Synthesize customer feedback, analyst input, and market data to identify positioning gaps and content opportunities, feeding insights back into product strategy.
  • Prepare and present technical demonstrations and presentations for both technical and executive audiences, and support field teams with training, content, and tools that accelerate the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
