Marketing Specialist – Team Lead
Job Description
Quest Analytics is building an AI-forward marketing organization focused on integrated content, editorial strategy, and measurable performance. In this onsite role in Overland Park, KS, you will lead content and thought leadership initiatives, manage a team, and partner with leadership to embed AI across marketing workflows in a scalable way.
What you’ll do
- Own content and thought leadership strategy across enterprise network intelligence, provider data accuracy, compliance analytics, network management, and the evolving healthcare landscape.
- Turn complex internal expertise into clear, compelling stories for healthcare executives and decision-makers through articles, white papers, case studies, webinars, email campaigns, digital experiences, and social content.
- Establish and maintain a consistent, differentiated Quest Analytics brand voice across channels.
- Build and manage an integrated content and editorial calendar that connects business priorities, campaigns, thought leadership, events, social media, and demand generation.
- Find opportunities to create new, meaningful content and also extend high-performing assets across audiences and formats with smarter reuse.
- Develop marketing plans to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and pipeline growth.
- Translate campaign strategies into content plans, deliverables, owners, and timelines.
- Support website growth through landing pages, blogs, resources, thought leadership, SEO/AEO optimization, and improvements to user experience.
- Collaborate with Social Media to expand presence, grow relevant audiences, and increase engagement.
- Partner with the Events team to connect conferences and events to broader campaigns and content strategies.
- Support and optimize paid digital campaigns across SEM, programmatic, and social channels with a focus on measurable performance and ROI.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for a content team spanning social media, video production, and marketing project management.
- Clarify priorities, help the team manage competing demands, remove roadblocks, and maintain a high creative and editorial standard.
- Develop project timelines, assignments, and priorities across internal teams, contractors, agencies, and vendors.
- Coach team members and build a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, accountability, and professional growth.
- Establish and track annual KPIs and ensure key projects and deliverables remain on schedule.
- Manage external contractors and vendors, including scoping, briefing, contracted hours, budgets, deliverables, and performance.
- Communicate priorities, milestones, budget considerations, and risks to marketing leadership and the broader team.
- Partner with subject matter experts and business leaders to ensure campaigns and content are accurate, differentiated, and on-brand.
- Work with the VP of Marketing to move from individual AI experimentation to a scalable operating model where AI is embedded throughout the marketing workflow.
- Explore and apply tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and other emerging AI technologies to support research, content development, thought leadership ideation, repurposing, cross-platform production, campaign iteration, ICP and audience targeting, SEO and AEO strategies, performance analysis, and workflow automation.
- Continuously evaluate new AI capabilities, test approaches, and document repeatable workflows, standards, and practices for the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or 8+ years of equivalent B2B marketing experience in lieu of a degree.
- 7+ years of professional writing and B2B content marketing experience, including long-form thought leadership, articles, case studies, email campaigns, web content, and social copy.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing integrated content and editorial calendars across multiple channels and formats.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to translate complex or technical concepts into compelling stories for executive audiences.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered content and productivity tools, including Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
- Experience creating, testing, and documenting AI-assisted workflows (beyond one-off AI content generation).
- Knowledge of SEO and AEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, and performance measurement using Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
- Experience managing contractors, agencies, and external partners, including scoping, briefing, budget management, and performance feedback.
- Strong project management skills to keep multiple workstreams moving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, listening, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to provide direction, feedback, and accountability while helping others grow.
