What is the opportunity?
Become part of the Global Content Marketing Team within Global Asset Management. You will play a key role in originating, producing, distributing, and measuring investment marketing content across diverse media. As an Associate Director for Content Marketing, you will lead content creation for the US market and help accelerate the global evolution of the content function, elevating RBC GAM’s engagement with targeted audiences.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with Investment, Distribution, and Marketing teams to produce high impact thought leadership across print, digital, and video channels, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and client needs.
- Refresh evergreen materials such as webpages and whitepapers to keep content current.
- Leverage and adapt content from other offices to maximize reach and relevance.
- Own editorial calendars, ensure timely delivery, track impact, and manage stakeholder engagement.
- Work proactively with Investment and Distribution stakeholders to define client needs, key messages, and calls to action before production, ensuring these are reflected in output.
- Apply insights and AI tools across media types and geographies, coordinating with global teams to accelerate cross-regional content leverage.
- Partner with Digital and Marketing teams to analyze content performance, share insights, and identify optimization opportunities such as campaign effectiveness or A/B testing results.
- Pilot new content formats, technologies, and distribution tactics to stay ahead of industry trends, demonstrating efficiency gains through AI.
Must-Have
- 10+ years of experience leading the creation of investment insights within asset management, with deep knowledge of investment markets and decision making, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Investment strategy experience across fixed income, equities, and alternatives.
- Proven ability to originate audience-appropriate content independently and translate complex investment concepts into clear, engaging, visually compelling material for institutional and intermediary audiences across multiple geographies.
- Strong output capacity, problem-solving agility, and success thriving in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
- Ability to lead stakeholder engagement and collaborate with multiple audiences to achieve shared objectives, with autonomy to drive initiatives.
- Experience deploying AI tools for content optimization and a growth mindset for testing emerging trends.
- Working understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks across jurisdictions, particularly in the US; familiarity with other geographies is a plus.
