The Sales, Marketing, and Events Coordinator role at Marriott Tech Center (Sage Hospitality) provides support across Group Sales, Catering Sales, Business Travel Sales, Event Management, Group Housing, and Marketing from an onsite location in Denver, Colorado. The position handles clerical duties, coordinates marketing activities, and assists with proposals, contracts, event orders, and branding across hotel departments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain department-specific daily and weekly reports as directed by leadership.
- Create, file, assemble, and organize daily and weekly folders and forms as instructed.
- Process amenities, site tour communications, guest and planner points, select reservations, and other required deliverables.
- Join marketing and branding calls and contribute to marketing initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with multiple hotel departments.
- Provide support for proposals, contracts, event orders, and resumes as assigned.
- Answer department phones and route inquiries accurately and promptly.
- Represent the hotel and self with integrity and professionalism, delivering a service-focused and caring attitude.
- Support the development and execution of special projects for the hotel, including client events, FAM tours, and site tours.
- Present a neat, professional appearance at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma and/or vocational secretarial training.
- Prior experience in sales, marketing, events, hospitality, or secretarial roles is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
- Strong grammatical and editing abilities.
- Excellent verbal communication for clear interaction with customers and other departments.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms, portals, and collateral/design tools (for example Canva).
- Knowledge of digital media and social media platforms and reporting.
- Creative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
