Job Description
The State of Colorado offers an opportunity to lead the Colorado Lottery’s digital presence from a central onsite location in Denver. This Interactive Marketing Manager role comes with a competitive monthly salary range of USD 6,022 to 7,751, and a chance to shape interactive marketing, digital content, analytics, and eCommerce to boost player engagement and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, development, and performance of the Colorado Lottery's digital ecosystem, including the public website and mobile application.
- Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, technology, legal, and external vendors to deliver secure, accessible, and high-performing digital platforms.
- Oversee digital content, eCommerce initiatives, analytics, vendor contracts, and compliance to enhance player engagement, optimize performance, and support revenue growth.
- Lead the development and execution of interactive marketing and communications strategies that support organizational goals, product awareness, and customer engagement across digital channels (website, mobile application, email, SMS and mobile push notifications).
- Serve as an interactive advisor and primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on marketing approaches, campaign planning, timelines, and performance measurements.
- Direct the planning, launch, and evaluation of interactive marketing campaigns, including audience targeting, messaging strategy, channel selection, and post-campaign analysis.
- Present interactive marketing strategies, performance results, and recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Monitor and analyze complex digital funnels to identify friction points and implement conversion rate optimization strategies.
- Manage digital content strategy and execution for websites, mobile apps, email, push notifications and SMS, ensuring messaging is on strategy, consistent, accessible, aligned with brand standards and campaign objectives and KPIs are achieved.
- Lead the administration and continuous improvement of the Lottery's digital and eCommerce systems, including online sales tools, platform integrations, and vendor-supported technologies.
- Analyze digital and platform performance metrics to assess effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements to increase engagement and support revenue growth.
- Ensure all marketing and digital communications comply with applicable laws, regulations, accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA), and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with creative agencies and external vendors on interactive marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring deliverables meet scope, quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
- Oversee interactive marketing-related contracts, budgets, and procurement activities, including participating in RFP processes and monitoring vendor performance.
- Track expenditures in the program area and ensure responsible use of funds aligned with program objectives and state procurement policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, legal, information technology, and operations teams to align interactive marketing initiatives with organizational priorities and customer and player needs.
