Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Career Certified is seeking a Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across email, promotional, digital, and web channels. Working closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager, you will translate strategy into action and monitor performance to drive growth from a Denver, CO base with remote options. This role typically requires an Associate’s degree and 1 to 3 years of marketing experience, with a compensation range of USD 60,000 - 65,000 per yearly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver campaigns across email, promotional offers, digital channels, and web initiatives.
- Assist in building the monthly promotions calendar, coordinating scheduling, copy, and on‑brief launches.
- Prepare campaign briefs, creative requests, copy elements (headlines, subject lines, CTAs), and messaging frameworks for review.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on schedule.
- Manage the execution and ongoing performance of recurring and always-on programs, including customer lifecycle and promotions.
- Track program effectiveness and implement adjustments to boost results.
- Coordinate assets and campaign elements across channels to maintain consistency and quality.
- Analyze performance data such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and revenue impact.
- Monitor initiatives against revenue, conversion, engagement, and growth goals, and surface recommendations.
- Identify data trends and derive insights to inform future strategy.
- Conduct competitor analysis to monitor industry trends, benchmark performance, and identify differentiation opportunities.
- Contribute to campaign and program strategy with data-driven insights and innovative ideas.
- Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and best practices to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide input on campaign direction and priorities.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to support campaign execution and alignment.
- Maintain clear communication across stakeholders to drive project success.
- Support budget tracking and coordination in collaboration with Marketing and Sales leadership.
- Assist the Sr. Marketing Manager with administrative and operational tasks including project tracking, asset management, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain organized records of campaign calendars, assets, and performance documentation.
- Help manage and update the marketing project management tool to keep campaigns on track.
- Additional responsibilities may include trade show and event support, webinar coordination, partner and ABM campaigns, post-event reporting, and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, campaign coordination, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in execution.
- Exposure to the Klaviyo email marketing platform is a strong plus.
- Analytical mindset with comfort pulling reports, reading dashboards, and summarizing findings clearly.
- Strong written communication skills for campaign copy, briefs, and internal documentation.
- Curious, proactive, and motivated to understand the why behind marketing decisions.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate content creation, support research, and enhance marketing execution.
- Ability to evaluate, refine, and apply AI-generated outputs while maintaining quality and brand standards.
- Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUP and Monday.com is a plus.
- Experience in e-commerce or online education marketing is a bonus.
