Job Description

IDrive Inc. is hiring a Marketing & Business Development Manager for IDrive Autonomy to drive consultative outreach and licensing deal execution with automotive manufacturers across the ADAS/AV software stack. This role connects technical validation to commercial momentum, owning both external go-to-market materials and the pipeline from evaluation to pilot and signed agreements. The position is based in the United States (remote).

In this role, you will lead business development focused on automotive OEMs, especially lean or budget vehicle manufacturers and legacy automakers without in-house AV software teams. You will build relationships across engineering leadership and C-level decision-makers, then translate proof points from engineering into messaging that supports licensing conversations.

What you’ll do

  • Lead business development and licensing sales for IDrive Autonomy across automotive OEMs.
  • Develop credible relationships from engineering leads through C-level stakeholders to accelerate movement from initial technical evaluation to pilot deployment and signed licensing agreements.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through direct outreach, industry events, and inbound interest generated by marketing campaigns.
  • Own marketing positioning and collateral for IDrive Autonomy, including pitch materials, technical one-pagers, and messaging that differentiates IDrive’s end-to-end, continuously-improving foundation-model approach versus static, rule-based competitors.
  • Represent IDrive Autonomy at industry trade shows and conferences, engaging targeted prospects and strengthening relationships with existing partners.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM discipline by tracking contacts, deal stages, and forecasted licensing revenue across active conversations.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering to convert technical validation data (such as engaged miles, safety performance, and road coverage) into proof points for prospective licensees.
  • Identify and proactively address technical, commercial, and organizational barriers that could slow a deal.

Requirements

  • Track record of exceeding sales or business development targets, ideally in automotive technology, ADAS/AV, or a related deep-tech B2B licensing environment.
  • Comfort navigating long, technical, multi-stakeholder sales cycles typical of automotive supplier relationships.
  • Strong communication skills that allow you to engage both engineers evaluating the technology and executives evaluating the business case.
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent OEM conversations while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Curiosity and analytical thinking, with a focus on understanding a prospect’s technical and business constraints.
  • Marketing instincts to turn technical differentiation into clear, credible external messaging.
  • Willingness to travel for industry events and in-person OEM meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience.
