BlueRock Global PE is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to plan, independently execute, and continuously refine marketing initiatives for BlueRock and its portfolio companies. Based in Tampa, FL with an onsite working arrangement, this role blends strategy and execution across brand positioning, digital growth, content development, and performance measurement while coordinating closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Review current marketing activities and create practical plans for BlueRock and each portfolio company, keeping a coordinated schedule of priorities tied to business objectives and available resources.
- Develop and maintain differentiated brand positioning, messaging, and presentation for each company based on products, customers, and competitive strengths.
- Manage and improve company websites, including content, SEO, usability, search visibility, and clear paths for customer inquiries, coordinating specialized development work as needed.
- Plan, build, launch, and refine digital campaigns end to end.
- Create and produce professional written and visual materials, including capability statements, product and service pages, brochures, presentations, case studies, digital graphics, and sales collateral.
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Quality to understand customer applications and buying considerations, verify technical information, and obtain appropriate review before publishing claims.
- Research target markets, customers, and competitors to identify marketing opportunities and help prospective customers understand technical offerings.
- Build targeted initiatives to generate qualified inquiries, improve lead capture and tracking, coordinate handoff to Sales, and use lead-quality feedback to refine marketing efforts.
- When applicable, support e-commerce marketing focused on product content, discoverability, customer acquisition, and online conversion rather than order fulfillment.
- Track performance across websites, search, campaigns, leads, conversions, and related marketing expenditures, and share meaningful results and recommendations with leadership.
- Coordinate approved outside specialists and event-related marketing projects, evaluate deliverables, and maintain organized marketing assets, schedules, and records.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of progressive marketing experience with substantial independent responsibility for developing, executing, and managing marketing initiatives.
- Hands-on experience marketing technical products, specialized services, or complex solutions for business or professional customers.
- Proven ability to own marketing work from planning and content creation through campaign execution, lead generation, measurement, and improvement, rather than primarily managing agencies or delegating tasks.
- Practical skills in SEO, website content management, digital campaigns, analytics, and lead generation activities.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills to communicate technical information accurately and clearly.
- Ability to personally create polished written and visual marketing materials using appropriate content, design, and digital tools.
- Strong project management and communication skills, including the judgment to establish priorities and work effectively with business and technical leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical manufacturing, engineered products, industrial technology, or related markets.
- Familiarity with customers in aerospace, defense, medical, scientific, industrial, or commercial sectors.
- Experience supporting multiple brands, business units, or portfolio companies.
- Experience establishing or improving marketing processes in a growing organization, including prioritization and repeatable customer-acquisition activities.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, e-commerce marketing, technical product launches, or trade shows.
Compensation
- Salary: Based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capabilities.
- Pay: From $1.00 per year.
