Job Description

Carpenter Brothers, Inc. (CBI) and its subsidiary J. Carpenter Environmental, LLC (JCE) are seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee marketing strategy and execution in Mequon, WI. This role focuses on digital modernization, lead generation, and scalable marketing systems that support business growth across both organizations.

Role Overview

Reporting to company leadership, the Marketing Manager is responsible for end-to-end marketing for CBI and JCE. The position includes planning and budgeting, building and distributing marketing content, improving website performance and conversion rates, and developing lead generation campaigns across multiple digital and traditional channels.

Key Responsibilities

Own all marketing activities for CBI and JCE.
Create, manage, and distribute sales materials and marketing content for websites, blog, email campaigns, and social channels for both brands.
Develop and execute the annual marketing roadmap and budget for CBI and JCE.
Lead website modernization, including UX, content architecture, content updates, performance management, and conversion optimization.
Manage content strategy across websites, sales materials, blog, email, and social channels.
Optimize digital content for discoverability in traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered answer engines.
Translate technical knowledge into polished sales collateral, application stories, customer case studies, and branded materials.
Create and maintain sales materials and resources for both internal and external use.
Build campaigns designed to generate qualified leads using organic search, email marketing, digital advertising, remarketing, and industry media.
Build a multimedia content engine, including photography, equipment demos, field application videos, and customer success stories.
Collaborate with company and sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with pipeline and revenue goals.
Review current freelance and vendor relationships, determine what should remain external versus be brought in-house, and manage external marketing vendors as needed.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, digital marketing, or brand growth roles.
Strong experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms.
Solid understanding of SEO, content strategy, analytics, and conversion optimization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and build systems from scratch.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance strategy and execution.

Preferred Experience

Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
