The Marketing Coordinator is an on site role in Coshocton, Ohio, responsible for coordinating the development, management, and execution of electronic, print, and trade show marketing communications for Wiley Companies.

Responsibilities
- Create, coordinate, and refine copy for website updates, press releases, product literature, and email campaigns.
- Oversee external website content for accuracy and freshness; add new pages and perform regular updates.
- Manage the company’s social media presence on platforms including Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Design and manage regular email marketing programs such as newsletters, promotional flyers, and holiday greetings.
- Monitor website traffic with Google Analytics and implement SEO improvements to boost visibility and site performance.
- Prepare periodic performance reports on web and social media activity for management.
- Uphold a consistent brand image across logos, letterhead, business cards, templates, signage, labels, and related documents.
- Collaborate with the sales team to produce and maintain printed marketing collateral such as advertisements, data sheets, white papers, and brochures.
- Identify required documents, craft copy, develop layouts and graphics, and deliver finished materials with a uniform company look.
- Plan, execute, and manage print mail marketing campaigns including trade show materials and seasonal greetings.
- Oversee inventory of branded gifts and giveaways.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of 5 to 10 trade shows per year, including booth reservations and representation.
- Arrange booth setup, delivery of marketing materials, and related logistics.
- Schedule meetings, dinners, and customer events in conjunction with show activities.
- Manage trade show services such as catering, electrical, A/V, and booth assembly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications or a related field is preferred.
- One to three years of experience in marketing or advertising is desirable.
- Proven experience in copywriting, layout design, and finalizing marketing collateral.
- Experience in business-to-business marketing communications is required.
- Strong ability to tailor messages to highlight Wiley Companies products and services and to translate technical information for a broader audience.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage content under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard page layout, image, and graphics editing software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Solid understanding of marketing principles, including using graphics and social media technologies in communications.
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
- Articulate and professional in both verbal and written communications.

Travel Requirements
- The Marketing Coordinator is based at the 545 Walnut Street, Coshocton, Ohio facility.
- Occasional travel to visit customers, suppliers, vendors, industry trade shows, training events, and conferences is required.
- Attendance at all Wiley exhibitions at industry trade shows is expected.
- Regular travel is not expected to exceed twenty business days per year.
- International travel to G20 countries to support trade show and customer events may be required periodically.
Shift and Hours
This is a standard salaried position with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, totaling approximately 2,080 hours per year.
Occasional after hours and weekend work may be required, particularly for travel and trade show support, and to prepare or revise materials for sales meetings with customers.
