Job Description

National Marketing Manager at Smith Douglas Homes coordinates national marketing initiatives to drive division growth, support community launches, and enhance the customer experience across channels.

Location: Woodstock, GA (onsite)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative agency to craft campaign messaging and marketing assets used across digital, social, and division marketing programs.
  • Lead cross functional coordination to rollout national campaigns, maintaining consistent messaging across the website, social channels, email programs, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Oversee the marketing calendar and align timelines to ensure timely, organized execution.
  • Plan and coordinate community launches, including positioning, Coming Soon messaging, launch strategy, and division wide marketing frameworks.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify opportunities and recommend improvements for future initiatives, messaging, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with IT, Analytics, Sales, and external vendors to deploy and optimize HubSpot marketing initiatives, website enhancements, lead generation tools, email programs, and other marketing tech projects.
  • Create, deploy, and refine national and division email campaigns, automated customer journeys, and lead nurture workflows in HubSpot, using performance data to boost engagement and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to building interactive tools and digital experiences that strengthen product positioning and the overall consumer experience.
  • Develop and sustain marketing toolkits to support promotions, division launches, events, model openings, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Keep marketing resources, templates, and SharePoint content up to date so division teams have current materials and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible marketing experience in the homebuilding sector, supporting community marketing, campaign execution, and division marketing initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating community launches, developing integrated campaigns, and partnering with sales and division teams within a production homebuilding environment is required.
  • Corporate marketing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with website content management systems.
  • CRM systems experience, with HubSpot preferred.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics GA4.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing technologies.
  • Familiarity with Canva.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to evaluate marketing performance, customer insights, and campaign analytics to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and make informed decisions that support business objectives.

  • Willing to travel periodically to division offices, community launches, company meetings, and special events as needed.
  • Based at the Smith Douglas Homes Support Center in Woodstock, GA, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
