Job Description
InTouch Credit Union is hiring a full-time Marketing Specialist/Copywriter in Plano, TX (onsite). This role is built for someone who enjoys turning customer needs into clear, persuasive messaging that supports the credit union’s mission and delivers measurable results across digital and print. You will help strengthen brand awareness, improve member engagement, and contribute written work that supports organizational objectives.
What you’ll do
- Write high-converting, audience-centric copy for digital campaigns, landing pages, email funnels, and other written communications.
- Translate Credit Union products and services into clear value propositions that drive member action, brand loyalty, and measurable revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to improve the credit union’s competitive position by producing effective copy for marketing and advertising media, programs, and campaigns targeting audiences in the markets served.
- Increase brand awareness and drive measurable member action across digital and print channels.
- Participate in planning and coordination of efforts tied to organization goals.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or equivalent commensurate experience.
- 2+ years of professional writing and copywriting experience.
- Ability to demonstrate sound problem solving and decision-making.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SMS, SEO, email automation, and ad serving tools.
- Knowledge of ad serving tools and Google Tag Manager.
- Knowledge of SEMrush, Jepto, and JavaScript.
- Strong communication skills, in person and across digital platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment (credit union preferred).
- Demonstrative experience to meet and exceed goals.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. No Saturdays.
