Coordinator, Marketing Surgery/Ortho Surgery
Job Description
Based onsite in Erlanger, Kentucky, the Coordinator, Marketing Surgery/Ortho Surgery supports the Marketing function at St. Elizabeth Healthcare by executing promotion, marketing, media, and communications activities for the service lines. This role reports to the Marketing Manager and collaborates with creative design services, digital communications, and media relations.
Summary
The incumbent supports marketing efforts for the surgery and orthopedics service lines by carrying out promotional campaigns, advertising, media relations, and communications initiatives. The position works closely with creative services, digital communications, and media relations under the supervision of the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support the service line marketing manager in delivering the annual marketing plan for the service line.
- Develop deep knowledge of the service line’s business drivers, market dynamics, competitive advantages, and the needs of the target audience, shaping message strategy and go-to-market media plans.
- Serve as a primary collaborative partner and creative contributor for the service line across the department.
- Lead interactions and coordinate closely with clinical teams, other department functions, and partnering agencies.
- Own the delivery of key service line marketing projects, including CRM campaigns, patient experience initiatives, advertising and content, community outreach, physician/clinical promotions, media planning, PR, and website creation and maintenance.
- Support and guide activations for new offerings within the service line.
- Focus on managing event execution, PR initiatives, or supporting service line requests.
- Provide analytical insights to determine what works and what does not, adjusting service plans accordingly.
- Build expertise in business drivers and evolving audience needs, guiding media investments for the service line.
- Lead execution of CRM and digital media initiatives.
- Provide ongoing perspective and direction on service line plans.
- Assist with budget management for the service line.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability in supporting marketing and communication planning, including identifying key target audiences, implementing effective communication strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Experience with project management around event coordination, advertising development, promotional campaigns, media and business analytics, and CRM.
- Minimum of one year of experience in marketing communications or public relations.
