Job Description

The onsite National Senior Marketing Coordinator role supports Hensel Phelps' regional growth through client development, marketing efforts, and project procurement. The position leads RFQ and RFP responses, crafts proposal materials and marketing collateral, coordinates events and public relations activities, and maintains project data in company databases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all RFQ and RFP responses assigned, including presentations and interviews, ensuring the overall theme, technical scope, staff qualifications, and experience are accurately represented and visually appealing.
  • Provide input and collaboration to establish priorities and protocols for responding to RFPs and other marketing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with senior-level technical staff to prepare proposal materials, including writing, editing, verification, and formatting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, quality, and clarity.
  • Create marketing materials such as informational documents, qualification packages, advertisements, displays, and brochures.
  • Organize and monitor presentation and interview rehearsals, including active support for facilitators and coaches.
  • Develop and design award submittals and coordinate public relations initiatives as needed, including social media content and participation.
  • Update company-wide databases with project and proposal information on an ongoing basis, including site visits to collect data for upload.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Four years of architecture, engineering, and construction marketing experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience with CRM software, photo editing, and WEBDAM Management.
  • Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong multitasking ability with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to develop and foster professional relationships.

Physical Work Classification & Demands

  • Light work, with occasional exertion up to 25 pounds and frequent exertion up to 10 pounds; negligible force for most tasks.
  • Periodic activities include walking, kneeling, sitting, crouching, reaching, stooping, reading, speaking, pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, and typing, with frequency varying by workflow.
  • Occasional movement within the office to access files, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Constant use of computers and office equipment such as calculators, phones, and printers.
  • Regular communication with employees and external stakeholders on administrative topics.
  • Frequent mental tasks involving calculations, analysis, and conceptual work.
  • Regularly reads written communications and email submissions.
  • Most work is performed seated in front of a computer screen.
  • Visual acuity and the ability to operate a vehicle when required.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures is rare; exposure to outdoor elements is limited.

Compensation Range (Colorado Only)

  • Direct Compensation - Base Salary: $70,680.00 - $88,120.00 USD annually
  • Indirect Compensation - Annual Performance Bonus Eligibility: 0 - 10% of base salary
  • Annual Qualified Retirement Contribution: Up to 15% of base salary (accrual begins in year two of employment)
  • Cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) may be included
