Job Description

Stechman Hospitality seeks an onsite Director of Sales and Marketing in Middletown, NY to lead sales initiatives and marketing programs for a hotel resort. The role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies for a hotel sales team, directing business development activities, and crafting innovative campaigns to drive growth and expand market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-channel sales plans aimed at meeting revenue targets across outside sales and B2B markets.
  • Direct and mentor the sales team, delivering coaching and motivation to drive peak performance and development.
  • Drive new business through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging contacts in technology and technical sales sectors.
  • Oversee account management to strengthen existing client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop innovative marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and support business goals.
  • Use CRM systems, including Salesforce, to analyze sales data, monitor pipeline progression, and optimize sales workflows.
  • Negotiate contracts and proposals to secure mutually beneficial terms aligned with company goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to craft tailored solutions that address client needs and promote revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record as a Director of Sales in hotel sales, B2B sales, and leadership within hospitality.
  • Proven leadership abilities to motivate teams and promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Visible success in hotel sales, business development, and account management roles.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities combined with analytical skills to interpret market trends and customer insights.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and digital tools to support integrated campaigns.
  • Proficiency with hospitality CRM platforms for tracking activities and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Ability to formulate strategic plans, set measurable goals, and execute initiatives effectively in a fast-paced environment.
