Brown County Broadcasting Co. is hiring a Digital Media & Marketing Coordinator to support radio, community programming, and digital channels from an onsite location in Brownwood, TX. This role blends graphic creation, marketing campaign support, social and web management, and real-time assistance for live broadcasts and streaming events.
The coordinator will help keep promotions, websites, and social media current, while also contributing to troubleshooting and coordination with on-air personalities, sales staff, and outside vendors. During football season, Friday night support is an important part of the schedule.
What you’ll do
- Create graphics and promotional materials for radio, digital, social media, websites, live events, and advertising campaigns.
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns promoting radio stations, websites, sports broadcasts, advertisers, and community events.
- Manage and update WordPress websites, including posting stories, graphics, advertising, and promotional content.
- Develop and manage content for company social media platforms.
- Assist with YouTube channels, live-streaming platforms, mobile apps, and other digital media services.
- Help administer and maintain software platforms used for broadcasting, marketing, streaming, websites, and digital content.
- Coordinate digital and on-air promotional campaigns.
- Support live broadcasts and streaming events, including football games, youth fair events, rodeos, parades, and other community activities.
- Provide Friday night football support during football season, including live-streaming and broadcast coordination, quality control, and troubleshooting.
- Work with on-air personalities, sales staff, management, and vendors to coordinate promotions and special projects.
- Create and update digital advertising, website banners, social media graphics, and other promotional assets.
- Monitor digital platforms and help troubleshoot technical or content-related issues.
- Assist with additional marketing, digital, and promotional projects as needed.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools.
- Strong computer and general technology skills.
- Experience managing social media accounts and creating digital content.
- Experience with WordPress or similar website content management systems.
- Comfort learning and administering new software and digital platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and remain calm during live events.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Availability for some evenings and special events, particularly Friday nights during football season.

- Pay: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
