The American Society of Nephrology is seeking a full-time Marketing Associate to support multi-channel campaign execution under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications. This hybrid role is based in Washington, DC and emphasizes accurate, operational delivery across email, social media, and analytics workflows.
Role Overview
In this position, you will manage the production and technical implementation of marketing deliverables, assist with marketing asset development, and help translate performance data into actionable insights. You will also maintain campaign alignment across ASN teams while supporting department-wide planning through production calendar management.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Own the technical implementation of email deployments, including list segmentation, building, testing, and scheduling, with a focus on 100% accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Assist with the development of marketing assets.
- Implement approved copy and creative designs across email and social media, ensuring adherence to ASN brand standards.
- Assist with database management to maintain data integrity.
- Compile and analyze marketing campaign data from multiple analytics platforms to support campaign optimization across channels and improve marketing strategies.
- Coordinate with all ASN teams to ensure marketing efforts and campaigns align with organizational strategies and goals.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to support creativity in campaign development.
- Actively manage the production calendar by tracking multiple deployments and administrative milestones in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of related marketing or communications experience, including internship experience.
- Proficiency using technology to organize and execute projects via Microsoft 365 business and productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative approach to work effectively with volunteer members and leaders, colleagues, and other departments.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated marketing operations knowledge, including email marketing platforms (e.g., Higher Logic or MagnetMail), social media platforms (e.g., Hootsuite), AMS software (e.g., NetFORUM), and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics or Fullstory).

Work Location
This is a hybrid role based in Washington, DC 20005, with 80 days in the office required.
Compensation
USD 55,000 to 62,000 per year.
