Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Melissa Memorial Hospital offers an onsite Marketing and Engagement Specialist role in Holyoke, Colorado. The position pays $20-$26 per hour and requires an Associate’s degree plus at least 1 year of related experience. You will support internal and external communications and outreach, promote hospital services, employee initiatives, events, and health programs through digital and print content.

Responsibilities
- Contributes to campaigns promoting hospital services, provider offerings, recruitment, and community events
- Plans and publishes social media content and tracks basic analytics
- Coordinates employee engagement efforts such as Employee of the Month, recognition programs, and internal campaigns
- Supports planning of community outreach events, health fairs, hospital week activities, and special events
- Aids in crafting and editing flyers, advertisements, graphics, presentations, and simple digital assets
- Maintains the marketing calendar and assists with project coordination
- Ensures all materials align with hospital branding standards
- Assists with website updates and coordinates with external vendors as needed
- Provides general administrative and project support for marketing, engagement, and communications initiatives
- Acts as backup to the Recruitment Specialist
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Experience with basic video editing for digital or social media use
- Experience creating or editing basic marketing materials such as flyers, advertisements, presentations, or digital content
- 1-2 years experience supporting marketing, communications, employee engagement, or community outreach initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with hospital staff
