Digital Marketing Specialist
Job Description
This role focuses on elevating a restaurant's online presence by planning, executing, and refining digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. The objective is to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and boost sales through expertise in SEO, social media, content creation, and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns using SEO tools, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and marketing automation to maximize reach and engagement.
- Perform keyword research and apply SEO best practices across WordPress and other content management systems to improve search rankings.
- Create compelling content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media posts, and advertisements that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Manage social media profiles with appropriate tools, producing engaging posts and monitoring performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
- Analyze website traffic and campaign performance with Google Analytics, SQL queries, and other analytics tools to inform decisions and improve conversions.
- Collaborate with graphic designers using Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop to produce visually appealing assets for digital campaigns.
- Optimize landing pages for conversion through A/B testing, performance marketing techniques, and user experience enhancements.
- Monitor SEM campaigns including Google Ads to ensure efficient budget utilization and ROI maximization.
- Support e-commerce initiatives by integrating digital marketing strategies that enhance online sales channels.
- Stay informed about evolving digital marketing trends, including SEO advancements, social media innovations, and new tools to keep strategies current.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital marketing with strong understanding of SEO tools, SEM, Google Ads, and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Ability to create content, copy, and graphics (Adobe Photoshop); HTML/CSS coding skills and JavaScript, with experience on WordPress or similar CMS.
- Familiarity with social media advertising and management platforms.
- Knowledge of conversion optimization techniques to improve engagement and lead generation.
- Experience with email marketing campaigns using marketing automation tools to nurture leads effectively.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data from SQL databases or analytics dashboards for strategic insights.
- Excellent communication and proactive project management in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with restaurant technology ecosystems including Yelp, DoorDash, UberEats, Toast, and loyalty platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred but can be offset by relevant experience.
