Demand Generation Manager

As the Demand Generation Manager, you will own the strategy, performance, and execution of the demand generation engine to drive MQLs and sales pipeline across content, digital, and events. You will lead a small team, coordinate with partnerships and earned media, and report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities
- Own integrated demand generation across content, digital, and events to grow MQLs and pipeline across paid, owned, and partner channels
- Collaborate with Marketing leadership to refine audiences, personas, journeys, and messaging
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns to attract prospects and build pipeline
- Oversee core demand functions: SEO/GEO, paid digital, content, automation, and live/virtual events
- Position the website as a high-performing centerpiece driving quality traffic, engagement, and conversions
- Develop and activate content such as blogs, ebooks, webinars, and events aligned to audience needs and objectives
- Translate content into demand by promoting across LinkedIn, Google search/display, and email
- Support Events Lead to ensure in-person and virtual events drive new leads and nurture audiences
- Track and optimize performance against MQLs, event attendance, and digital conversions
- Expand visibility through earned media and partner-driven channels
- Manage relationships with key industry organizations and publications
- Identify and execute sponsored content, executive speaking engagements, and industry event participation
- Oversee press releases and contributed content to generate earned media coverage
- Evaluate partnership performance and optimize investment decisions
- Lead and develop a team responsible for content, digital marketing, and events
- Create cross-channel alignment so campaigns are cohesive
- Act as a player-coach, guiding execution while staying close enough to review and refine as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on demand generation and integrated campaigns
- Experience managing or mentoring team members with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style
- Strong working knowledge of digital channels including LinkedIn paid and Google search/display
- Experience executing multi-channel campaigns tied to pipeline outcomes
- Familiarity with industry events and trade shows as a demand generation channel
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or similar
- Strategic and analytical mindset with data-driven decision making
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Salesforce and ZoomInfo is a plus
- Experience in health insurance, benefits, or financial services is a plus
- Digital marketing agency experience is a plus
