Vice President of Sales
Job Description
At Workforce Management Inc., the Vice President of Sales leads the sales organization from our Schaumburg headquarters and shapes a national growth strategy across multiple states as a member of the executive team. The role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership to align sales with marketing and operations in a dynamic staffing environment. The incumbent will drive revenue, mentor senior leaders, and ensure the organization scales effectively to meet client demand.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales vision and go-to-market plan aimed at sustained year-over-year revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new geographies and industry verticals using data-driven insights to capture additional market share.
- Manage the sales budget, forecast accuracy, and profitability targets, ensuring sales volume aligns with gross margin and operational capacity.
- Represent the company in high-level enterprise discussions and with strategic partners, leading multi-million dollar contract negotiations.
- Develop and mentor the leadership team, setting clear KPIs and establishing coaching cadences and accountability structures.
- Define the sales methodology, CRM framework, and training initiatives to equip the field for complex staffing deals.
- Cultivate a high-energy, collaborative, and results-oriented culture that attracts and retains top sales talent.
- Collaborate with Marketing leadership to align lead generation, employer branding, and digital presence with sales goals.
- Partner with Operations and Service Delivery to ensure the organization can fulfill talent needs generated by sales successes.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within the staffing industry, including at least 5 years in an executive or director role.
- Demonstrated ability to scale a sales organization from mid-market to enterprise levels.
- Deep knowledge of staffing models such as Temp-to-Hire, Direct Hire, RPO, and Managed Services, plus awareness of industry regulations and labor trends.
- Proven ability to inspire, lead, and develop large, geographically dispersed sales teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Existing network within the Illinois business community and willingness to operate from the Schaumburg, IL headquarters.

Compensation
Base salary range: USD 81,885 to 100,000 per year (pay listed as $81,885.02 - $100,000.00 per year).
