Sales & Marketing Manager – Home Care (High Earning Potential)
Job Description
Dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager position in West Hartford, CT focused on leading home care growth and referral development.
Responsibilities
- Assess market dynamics, competitor activity, and influential centers to uncover growth opportunities.
- Identify local referral sources such as hospitals, senior living communities, physician practices, VA facilities, and related healthcare providers to forge lasting relationships.
- Develop and grow new referral sources through in-person meetings, networking, and digital strategies.
- Conduct client interviews and coordinate with office staff to ensure timely start of care.
- Coordinate and oversee digital marketing activities in collaboration with leadership.
- Plan and execute daily networking and relationship-building tasks.
- Arrange presentations of Senior Helpers services at healthcare and senior-focused meetings.
- Produce weekly activity reports and monitor KPIs and marketing data.
- Visit and schedule meetings with decision-makers who can refer clients.
- Engage with 8 to 10 referral sources daily to grow referrals and relationships.
- Utilize the monthly marketing calendar to coordinate activities across channels.
- Represent Senior Helpers at trade shows, conferences, and community networking events.
- Network with industry peers to cultivate additional referral sources.
- Assist in coordinating marketing and advertising methods, including social media, digital marketing, direct mail, and print ads, with support from the Franchisor's Marketing team.
- Maintain and manage a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track contacts and referrals.
- Meet or exceed sales objectives while upholding professional representation of the company.

- Location: West Hartford, CT 06119 (onsite)
- Salary: USD 70,000 - 100,000 per year
- Education: Associate degree in marketing/healthcare or related field
- Experience (minimum): 1 year in home care sales or related field
Qualifications
- Associate degree in marketing/healthcare or related field; or three years of related marketing, sales, or business development experience in home care or healthcare in lieu of degree
- Minimum one year of healthcare/homecare industry experience in sales strategy or development; preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent rapport-building and follow-up capabilities
- Active listening with attention to detail
- Effective prioritization in a changing environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain consistent relationships with prospects and referral sources
- Solutions-driven, motivated, and results-oriented with a collaborative mindset

- Proven sales management experience, preferably in medical or technical sales
- Leadership ability with a track record of building high-performing teams

- Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Outlook; quick to learn new software
- Ability to work independently and as a strong team member
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Experience in homecare sales: 1 year required
