Marketing Associate - Neurosurgical

Join the Neurosurgical Marketing team at Stryker in Portage, Michigan as a marketing associate focused on the High Speed Drills portfolio. In this onsite role, you will support the business with sales tools, surgeon education and training initiatives, and engaging collateral, while contributing to marketing campaigns through cross-divisional collaboration.

Role focus

As a product expert, you will help translate market and customer insights into practical marketing and sales enablement. You will support planning efforts, track performance using scorecards and existing KPIs, and provide feedback that helps marketing leadership refine strategies. The work also includes supporting on-label use and promotion of all products, alongside partnering with sales to share customer satisfaction input trends.

Responsibilities

• Understand key competitors, including their relative strengths and weaknesses
• Understand customer groups, including why customers buy the product or service
• Identify critical customer needs and preferences
• Provide customer feedback to marketing leadership
• Aid in the construction of the marketing plan
• Understand basic budget management principles
• Understand general marketing principles such as segmentation, targeting, and positioning
• Serve as a subject matter expert for applicable products and product lines, including fielding technical questions
• Support sales training initiatives and programs throughout the year
• Support on-label use and promotion of all products
• Understand and support setting price and maintaining product or portfolio margin
• Be aware of commonly used internal and external communication goals, tools, and formats
• Use appropriate scorecards to track results
• Track existing KPIs and report back to the organization
• Share basic customer satisfaction input trends with the sales force

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred qualifications

• MBA preferred
• Previous experience in a marketing function

Location and pay range

• Location: Portage, MI (onsite)
• Salary: USD 59,900 - 83,300 per yearly
• United States pay ranges: USN: $59,900 - $83,300 USD Annual
