Job Description

The Pharmacy Marketing Coordinator role focuses on growing Long-Term Care Pharmacy services across the Sacramento region, requiring healthcare sales experience and the ability to build relationships with SNFs, ICFs, ARFs, RCFE, group homes and related facilities.

Responsibilities

Present and promote Long-Term Care Pharmacy solutions to targeted facilities
Develop and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and facility leaders
Execute cold calls, warm calls, and in-person visits
Conduct door-to-door outreach to care homes and healthcare sites
Coordinate sales efforts with pharmacy operations and management teams
Assess market opportunities and identify potential growth areas
Generate reports on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activities
Educate patients and healthcare providers about pharmacy services in collaboration with physician offices
Engage in ongoing training and professional development
Deliver exceptional customer service and account management

Requirements

Willingness to commute and travel daily within the assigned territory
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Prior sales experience required
Pharmacy industry experience preferred
Knowledge of Long-Term Care Pharmacy services
Understanding of SNF, ICF, ARF, RCFE, Group Home, and Family Home operations
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and meet monthly sales goals
Flexible with hours to accommodate client needs
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Willingness to accept coaching, training, and direction from management

Positions Available

Performance Expectations

Achieve a minimum of 50 new facility beds per month to qualify for bonus incentives
Aim for 60+ beds per month during the first six months
Maintain and grow monthly sales targets aligned with company growth objectives
Build and sustain strong relationships with facility administrators, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Compensation

Base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
Monthly performance bonus opportunities
