Job Description

The Pharmacy Marketing Coordinator role focuses on growing Long-Term Care Pharmacy services across the Sacramento region, requiring healthcare sales experience and the ability to build relationships with SNFs, ICFs, ARFs, RCFE, group homes and related facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Present and promote Long-Term Care Pharmacy solutions to targeted facilities
  • Develop and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and facility leaders
  • Execute cold calls, warm calls, and in-person visits
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach to care homes and healthcare sites
  • Coordinate sales efforts with pharmacy operations and management teams
  • Assess market opportunities and identify potential growth areas
  • Generate reports on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activities
  • Educate patients and healthcare providers about pharmacy services in collaboration with physician offices
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and account management

Requirements

  • Willingness to commute and travel daily within the assigned territory
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Prior sales experience required
  • Pharmacy industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Long-Term Care Pharmacy services
  • Understanding of SNF, ICF, ARF, RCFE, Group Home, and Family Home operations
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet monthly sales goals
  • Flexible with hours to accommodate client needs
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Willingness to accept coaching, training, and direction from management

Performance Expectations

  • Achieve a minimum of 50 new facility beds per month to qualify for bonus incentives
  • Aim for 60+ beds per month during the first six months
  • Maintain and grow monthly sales targets aligned with company growth objectives
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with facility administrators, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Compensation

  • Base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
  • Monthly performance bonus opportunities
