Job Description

Visit Panama City Beach offers a full-time, on-site Digital Marketing Manager role in Panama City Beach, FL. The position provides a salary range of USD 50,585 to 60,920 per year and supports a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across websites, CRM, email marketing, digital advertising, analytics, and social media to achieve measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the website, CMS, CRM, and email marketing platforms.
  • Lead the planning and execution of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and paid media strategies, working with agency partners to implement, optimize, and drive performance.
  • Manage social media strategy and content planning to align with brand voice and campaign goals.
  • Analyze digital performance metrics and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Ensure security, accessibility, and ongoing compliance of digital platforms.
  • Manage relationships with digital agencies and technology vendors.
  • Maintain regular, reliable full-time attendance as scheduled.
  • May have duties modified or added as needed to support Visit Panama City Beach’s mission and marketing objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in digital marketing, marketing, information systems, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing, website management, CRM administration, or digital advertising.
  • Proven experience managing websites, CMS platforms, CRM systems, and digital campaigns.
  • Experience managing digital agencies and technology vendors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engagement with the public.
  • Ability to speak, write, and comprehend the English language.

  • Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Florida driver's license upon offer of employment, with a driving record acceptable to PCB/CVB Driving Policy and insurance program.

  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, analytics, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility, security, and compliance standards.

  • Knowledge of destination marketing digital strategies.
  • Skill in developing and executing digital strategy; strong analytical abilities to interpret performance metrics.
  • Skill in vendor and agency management and in optimizing digital platforms and systems.
  • Skill in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication.
  • Outstanding project management and organizational abilities; excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to optimize digital platforms for performance and usability, adapt to changing technologies and trends, and ensure compliance and security across systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple digital initiatives simultaneously and support enterprise-level marketing objectives.

Work Location

Not eligible for remote work. This position is based at a PCB/CVB worksite and requires on-site presence.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions

  • Work occurs in a mix of office, field, and event-related environments; while primarily indoors, employees may assist with outdoor activities and public events.
  • Exposure to varying weather, crowds, noise, and other elements typical of public events; interaction with the public, vendors, contractors, and partner agencies.
  • Active work including standing, walking, bending, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements; good hearing, vision, and communication abilities.
  • Occasional lifting of materials or equipment, typically 10–15 pounds, with occasional needs up to 25 pounds and infrequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
