Content Marketing Lead
Job Description
Anrok, based in San Francisco, offers a hybrid work model and a clear path for a Content Marketing Lead to shape our brand and accelerate pipeline through editorial, video, social, and campaigns. You will own the content strategy from blueprint to distribution, crafting an editorial voice for tax, finance, and infrastructure that only Anrok can deliver. The role partners with product marketing and sales to turn launches and customer stories into material that moves deals, while supporting a culture of collaboration, learning, and impact. This position comes with equity upside typical of an early-stage startup, plus a comprehensive benefits package and an environment that values curiosity and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the content roadmap from strategy through execution, aligned to brand goals and pipeline targets.
- Define creative direction across formats including long-form editorial, thought leadership, video, social, newsletters, and campaign assets.
- Own Anrok's external voice and craft an editorial point of view on tax, finance, and infrastructure that reflects the company.
- Oversee agencies and freelancers across writing, design, and video; brief the work, maintain quality, and ensure voice consistency.
- Collaborate with product marketing and sales to turn launches and customer stories into content that advances deals.
- Develop content for every funnel stage, from category narratives to bottom-funnel proof.
- Own distribution strategy: decide where content lives, how it travels across channels, and how it compounds audience growth over time.
- Stay ahead of discovery and consumption trends, including AI-driven search and the feeds the audience reads.
- Connect content to engagement, audience growth, and pipeline performance, and steer budget toward effective assets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years creating content for a B2B audience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or infrastructure.
- A portfolio that demonstrates digital-first writing and a range of impactful wins.
- Strong editorial judgment with a clear vision of what great content looks like.
- Experience directing creative work and managing agencies or freelancers, not solely producing output yourself.
- fluency in how modern audiences discover and consume content across search, social, and AI-enabled channels.
- Bias toward shipping: you publish, learn, and iterate rather than wait for perfection.
- Ability to distill a complex category for finance or operations leaders in a single read.
- Experience building a content engine or editorial brand from an early stage.
Benefits
- Equity upside typical of an early-stage startup combined with the product-market fit of a later-stage company.
- Daily lunch and snacks for team members in office hubs.
- 100% coverage for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- One Medical membership covered, flexible sick benefits, and more.
- Annual learning and development stipend for books, online courses, and conferences, plus a team that shares knowledge.
- Annual team off-sites and in-person opportunities around growing Anrok hubs.
- Home office setup stipend to ensure you have the equipment you need to thrive.
