Job Description
The Senior Digital Marketing Manager leads strategy and execution across paid media, SEO, website experience, and content to drive qualified demand and revenue growth for Sage Home Loans within Red Ventures. This hybrid role is based in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously optimize strategies for paid search, paid social, display, and emerging digital media channels
- Oversee budget allocation, bidding strategies, audience segmentation, creative testing, and campaign pacing to maximize ROAS and CPL performance
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing across ad creative, landing pages, and audience segments to drive iterative performance gains
- Ensure campaigns comply with mortgage regulatory standards and related compliance requirements
- Develop and execute a forward looking search roadmap that extends beyond traditional SEO to include AEO and GEO strategies
- Optimize for high intent queries, featured snippets, voice search, AI generated responses, and other emerging search surfaces
- Collaborate with content and product teams to enhance technical SEO, site architecture, crawlability, and schema markup implementation
- Track organic rankings, share of voice, and AI powered search visibility with advanced analytics tools
- Own the full conversion funnel from ad click to application initiation, prioritizing revenue generation
- Lead landing page strategy and testing frameworks, including A/B and multivariate tests, to boost engagement and qualified lead flow
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to implement site improvements rapidly and iteratively
- Leverage behavioral data, heatmaps, and funnel analysis to identify friction points and deliver measurable conversion lifts
- Oversee affiliate marketing conversion optimization
- Oversee the website content strategy to support demand generation, brand authority, client education, and organic search performance
- Align editorial calendars with paid media priorities, search strategies, and product initiatives
- Ensure content reflects Sage Home Loans client first mindset and simplifies complex mortgage topics for everyday borrowers
- Optimize content distribution across owned, earned, and paid channels to maximize reach and engagement
- Establish clear KPIs across acquisition, engagement, and conversion to directly tie marketing activity to revenue
- Develop dashboards and present performance insights to senior stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Maintain accurate tagging, attribution, and CRM integrations across all digital properties
- Continuously evaluate and refine the martech stack to improve measurement, scalability, and speed to insight
- Partner with Product, Sales, Compliance, Engineering, Design, and Analytics to align marketing strategy with business goals
- Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and growth modeling as a key voice in shaping Sage Home Loans digital presence
- Collaborate with customer experience to manage Sage Home Loans brand reputation across digital platforms
Requirements
- Minimum six years of digital marketing experience with deep expertise in paid media (SEM), SEO, website conversion optimization, and content strategy
- Previous people management experience with a track record of building, coaching, and scaling high performing teams
- Proven success managing SEM campaigns and performance budgets with direct accountability for revenue growth and measurable outcomes
- Strong command of SEO principles including technical SEO, on page optimization, and link building
- Familiarity with AEO, GEO, and evolving AI driven search ecosystems
- Hands on experience leading landing page strategy and CRO testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate) with measurable conversion impact
- Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, CRM integrations, and modern analytics platforms
- Experience managing website content strategy with alignment across SEO, paid, and brand channels
- Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategy
- Experience in regulated industries such as mortgage, fintech, or financial services is preferred
- Ownership mindset with bias toward action, speed, and continuous improvement; plans that enable execution
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment where time is critical

Compensation
Total cash compensation range: USD 90,000 - 130,000 per year
