Join a mission driven AmeriCorps VISTA initiative focused on hunger relief through PORCH Communities in North Carolina. As the Media/Marketing Coordinator, you will support audience engagement and neighborhood leader marketing, working onsite to strengthen community-driven solutions and storehouse assets for outreach. This role emphasizes collaboration, practical impact, and skills development within a grassroots framework.

Responsibilities
- Meet with PORCH Community leadership to understand PORCH's mission, values, and operations, with emphasis on its grassroots hunger relief model. Engage neighborhood leaders to capture their views on hunger relief within the community‑driven approach.
- Build audience and engagement for PORCH Communities by listening to neighborhood needs, creating monthly social tiles aligned with a predefined media strategy, and posting content to Facebook and Instagram according to the social calendar.
- Support neighborhood leaders in using marketing tools and assets. Use WordPress to manage and maintain the internal resource center, The Front Porch.
