Job Description

Located onsite in La Porte, Indiana, Sera Group is seeking a Marketing Strategist to oversee a portfolio of client accounts from strategy through execution. The role centers on crafting digital marketing programs, managing paid campaigns with a focus on Google Ads and Facebook Ads, and translating performance data into actionable insights for client success, all while supporting organic social efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop digital marketing strategies for each assigned client, clarifying how Sera Group fits into their overall marketing landscape, defining success, and adapting the plan as the business evolves.
  • Stay current with platform updates, industry trends, and evolving best practices, contributing new ideas to enhance how the team works.
  • Directly manage paid advertising campaigns and social media efforts across major digital platforms, including setup, audience targeting, creative direction, ongoing optimization, and budget pacing.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, leading strategic conversations, communicating performance clearly, and ensuring clients feel supported as true marketing partners.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly performance reports that translate data into actionable insights aligned with each client’s goals, and present these findings in client meetings.
  • Oversee budgets with a focus on return on investment, setting realistic expectations and adjusting spend to protect performance and trust.
  • Coordinate with design and project management to keep work moving smoothly, review deliverables for quality, and maintain high standards across outputs.
  • Foster long-term client relationships and identify opportunities to deepen engagement with services that address real business challenges, presenting informed recommendations in meetings.

Requirements

  • Digital marketing and strategy experience of 2+ years; agency experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field is beneficial but not required; relevant experience and a strong grasp of digital advertising principles are valued.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into a clear, prioritized marketing plan and explain it to business owners with confidence and clarity.
  • Professionalism and reliability, including maturity, accountability, and consistent follow-through, since this role represents Sera Group to clients.
  • Hands-on campaign skills with comfort building, optimizing, and troubleshooting paid campaigns in major ad platforms and analytics tools; capable of working independently and knowing when to adjust or defer.
  • Strong client communication skills, both in person and virtually, with the ability to represent Sera Group clearly and credibly under your own name.
  • Reporting and analysis proficiency, with the ability to interpret marketing data, identify what matters, and articulate a clear narrative for clients; prepared to walk through reports and address the reasoning behind every number.
  • Budget management experience, including explaining performance in terms of business impact rather than just platform metrics.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

Experience

  • Digital marketing: 2+ years (Required)
  • Marketing strategy: 1 year (Preferred)
