Marketing Operations Manager
Job Description
PARR offers a hands-on marketing leadership role in Hillsboro, OR (onsite) focused on making marketing execution smoother and more effective across multiple teams and locations. This position helps keep campaigns, events, promotions, and creative work aligned with business priorities while building a high-ownership, customer-focused culture. You will help shape the day-to-day flow of marketing projects, strengthen execution standards, and improve outcomes through continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
The Marketing Operations Manager leads the day-to-day execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of PARR’s marketing efforts spanning retail, contractor sales, manufacturing, and support teams. Responsibilities include supervising and developing marketing team members, translating direction from the Director of Marketing into actionable project plans, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and aligned with company goals.
- Supervise, coach, and develop marketing team members by setting expectations, priorities, deadlines, and quality standards
- Turn Director of Marketing direction into project ownership assignments, timelines, follow-up routines, and clear next steps
- Build accountability while maintaining an energetic, supportive, solution-oriented team environment
- Provide timely, actionable feedback to build capability and independence through day-to-day work
- Identify stuck projects or employees early and step in to restore clarity, momentum, and resolution
- Address performance, communication, and execution concerns directly, constructively, and promptly
- Own the day-to-day marketing workflow across campaigns, events, promotions, creative assets, digital channels, internal communications, vendor programs, and location requests
- Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, calendars, timelines, budgets, deliverables, dependencies, approval paths, and next steps
- Lead project kickoffs, regular check-ins, and closeout reviews to support alignment and continuous improvement
- Prioritize competing requests and help determine when marketing should execute, refine, redirect, defer, or decline work based on business impact and capacity
- Identify risks, delays, bottlenecks, or unclear expectations early and recommend practical solutions before deadlines slip
- Manage external vendors and partners (agencies, printers, media partners, promotional partners, contractors) to support timely, accurate, cost-effective execution
- Maintain organized documentation, digital assets, request processes, and project management tools that improve transparency and efficiency
- Support development and execution of marketing plans that strengthen brand, drive customer engagement, generate leads, support sales, and reinforce PARR as the Total Home Building Source
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across digital, print, social, email, website, in-store, events, promotions, vendor-funded, and traditional channels
- Partner across Sales, Purchasing, Cabinets, Manufacturing, Operations, and other leaders to align marketing with revenue goals, customer needs, and seasonal opportunities
- Oversee marketing collateral creation and quality review (flyers, signage, graphics, brochures, presentations, case studies, customer materials, internal communications, promotional assets)
- Provide creative and design direction while knowing when refinement is needed versus when “good enough” helps keep priorities moving
- Ensure consistent brand voice, visual identity, messaging, and customer experience across channels and touchpoints
- Coordinate supplier, vendor, co-op, sponsorship, trade event, customer appreciation, community, and location-based marketing opportunities as appropriate
- Use market, customer, competitor, and industry information to refine recommendations and strengthen customer-facing messaging
- Review marketing performance data, campaign results, engagement metrics, lead generation, and stakeholder feedback to identify trends and improvements
- Support budget tracking, campaign ROI evaluation, vendor spend review, and resource planning
- Serve as a primary day-to-day marketing contact for internal stakeholders, clarifying business needs behind incoming requests
- Communicate priorities, timelines, tradeoffs, risks, and expectations clearly and professionally
- Build trusted working relationships with location leaders, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Manufacturing, People Operations, IT, vendors, and agencies
- Represent the marketing department professionally and in alignment with PARR’s FACE values, brand standards, and customer service expectations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
