Job Description
Brilliance LED is looking for a hands-on, individual-contributor Marketing Manager to own day-to-day marketing execution for social media and content, distributor and rep sales materials, email campaigns, and trade show support. You’ll report to the VP and work with a lean three-person marketing team where visibility, accountability, and practical reporting matter.
What you’ll get
- Flexible schedule to support how you manage your day-to-day work
- Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, plus a health savings account
- Life insurance and paid time off
- Parental leave benefits
- 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Own the social media content calendar and posting cadence across all active channels, mapping every piece of content to a specific goal (awareness, lead generation, distributor engagement, and more)
- Audit and refresh distributor and rep sales materials, identifying gaps ahead of upcoming trade shows or sales cycles
- Deliver a first monthly report that connects marketing activity to concrete outcomes, not just impressions and likes
- Drive measurable growth in engagement, lead volume, or distributor participation tied directly to campaigns you build and run
- Run a trade show or major distributor event from a marketing standpoint start to finish
- Act as the VP’s trusted execution point so marketing progress doesn’t stall on status chasing
- Stay current on platform changes and formats (Reels, TikTok, Stories, Shorts, and more) and bring new ideas that reflect what’s working right now
- Own all company social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) including strategy, posting, community management, and copywriting
- Build and execute monthly content calendars aligned with sales goals and seasonal demand cycles in landscape lighting
- Coordinate with the graphic designer for visual assets and the website lead for web-linked content and landing pages
- Track engagement, follower growth, and reach, and report what those metrics mean for the business
- Build relationships with industry media, associations, and relevant influencers
- Create and maintain sales collateral such as spec sheets, catalogs, and promotional materials for distributor partners and field reps
- Plan and support trade shows and industry events, including materials, logistics, and on-site coordination
- Serve as the marketing point of contact for field reps to ensure they have what they need to sell
- Plan and execute email campaigns to distributors, reps, and end customers
- Maintain a shared marketing calendar and report on campaign performance
- Work closely with the VP to keep initiatives tied to company goals
- Partner with the graphic designer and website lead as a small, hands-on team, with no people management
Requirements
- Genuine, current fluency with social platforms, including the ability to reference recent examples and demonstrate what’s working now
- Ability to share content or campaigns you personally ran in the last 6–12 months
- 3–6 years of marketing experience with a track record of executing campaigns and content
- Demonstrated ability to connect marketing activity to business results such as leads, sales conversations, and distributor engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, or similar) and social scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar)
- Comfort as a self-starter in a small team responsible for marketing execution across the company
- Enthusiasm for the outdoor lighting and landscape industry and the ability to talk about the product
Nice to have
- B2B, channel/distributor, or trade association marketing experience
- Experience in landscape, irrigation, outdoor living, or home improvement industries
- Comfort shooting quick, native-feeling phone photo or video for trend-driven posts, while the graphic designer supports polished assets
Technologies
- Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact
- Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite
Location & compensation
$70,000–$90,000 annually depending on experience. Full-time, on-site role based at Brilliance LED’s headquarters in Carefree, Arizona.
