Job Description

The Marketing Generalist role at Unicorn Tire Corporation is based onsite in Memphis, Tennessee. This role balances daily pricing data updates with dynamic marketing operations, coordinating trade show logistics, promotional inventory, and materials for product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large product and pricing datasets using advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PivotTables, data validation, and complex formulas to clean, organize, and maintain data efficiently.
  • Update price sheets accurately in Excel and input pricing terms into the SAP system with precision, ensuring consistency across platforms.
  • Maintain, update, and audit product specification data sheets to achieve 100 percent accuracy of technical details.
  • Rapidly learn and master the company’s product portfolio, including tire brands, product lines, technical specifications, country of origin, and manufacturer data.
  • Analyze and map tire brands and lines to specific customer segments and distribution channels.
  • Source, order, and distribute corporate gifts, event supplies, and branded merchandise; track allocations and coordinate distribution to support sales and trade show activities.
  • Keep the marketing room organized and properly labeled; manage digital inventory and coordinate timely replenishment of printed collateral and promotional assets, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Serve as the bridge between sales and the warehouse for samples and marketing supplies; arrange warehouse preparation, provide shipping labels, and track delivery while ensuring reusable items are logged and returned.
  • Draft and refine simple press releases, product updates, and quotes for new launches, translating technical specifications into accessible marketing copy.
  • Prepare and send periodic marketing emails and newsletters to customers or subscribers, highlighting product news and important announcements.
  • Support meetings and sales trips by preparing physical and digital materials and configuring presentation slides or welcome screens.
  • Provide ad hoc general marketing support and handle flexible duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field; 1–3 years of experience preferred, with exceptional recent graduates possessing elite Excel skills considered.
  • Expert or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; comfortable handling large formulas and auditing data for accuracy.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM or inventory tracking tools is a plus.
