Marketing Director for a Skilled Nursing Facility at Huntsville Health Care Center in Huntsville, TX, focused on driving census growth through field-based referral development in a competitive Texas market.
Responsibilities
- A high energy, field based development role aimed at boosting census by cultivating strong referral networks.
- Build and nurture relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, LTACHs, home health agencies, hospice providers, and community groups.
- Engage daily with referral sources to generate skilled nursing admissions.
- Oversee referrals from initial inquiry through the admission process.
- Track pending referrals and insurance authorizations, ensuring timely follow up.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth resident transitions.
- Represent Huntsville Health Care Center within the community to raise visibility.
- Develop new referral partnerships while strengthening existing ones.
- Monitor referral trends and implement strategies to increase occupancy.
- Serve as a trusted resource for healthcare professionals across the territory.
Requirements
- Previous marketing or admissions experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Proven success in increasing census within a SNF setting.
- Strong understanding of Medicare, managed care, insurance authorizations, and hospital discharge processes.
- Experience building referral relationships with hospitals and physicians.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated professional who requires little supervision.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
