Job Description

Cost.U.Less is seeking a Digital Marketing & Promotions Specialist to coordinate and optimize digital initiatives and brand messaging from onsite in Boca Raton.

Location: Boca Raton, FL (onsite). Reports to: Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, execute, and refine Cost.U.Less digital marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and brand messaging in line with strategy and brand standards.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in deploying digital marketing plans while using independent judgment to enhance campaign performance.
  • Drive customer engagement and maintain brand consistency through digital content creation, loyalty marketing, campaign analysis, and cross functional collaboration.
  • Oversee social media content and digital campaigns, manage the WhatsApp Loyalty Program, and develop and deploy email marketing initiatives and promotional coupons; contribute to post campaign insights.
  • Contribute to promotional branding efforts including campaign messaging, signage support, templates, and customer facing assets across digital and in store channels.
  • Support monthly promotional advertising through ad proofing, messaging guidance, and collaboration with merchants, designers, and store teams to meet brand standards and promo objectives.
  • Maintain creativity, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organization to manage multiple projects in a fast paced retail environment.
  • Manage and execute the social media content calendar across all Cost.U.Less markets.
  • Develop digital content, copy, and campaign messaging aligned with brand standards and promotional priorities.
  • Support brand consistency across digital platforms, promotional messaging, and customer facing marketing materials.
  • Assist with planning and optimization of paid social campaigns to extend reach and engagement.
  • Recommend content improvements based on engagement trends and campaign performance.
  • Oversee day to day execution of the WhatsApp Loyalty Program, including monthly campaigns, coupon deployment, subscriber engagement, and promotional communications.
  • Suggest changes to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness using performance data.
  • Oversee promotional coupon setup, testing, and execution across digital marketing channels.
  • Analyze promotional performance, coupon redemption trends, and customer engagement metrics.
  • Contribute to promotional post mortem reporting and provide recommendations for future campaign optimization.
  • Review and provide feedback during proofing and quality control of monthly promotional ads and related marketing materials.
  • Flag issues and recommend corrections related to messaging, pricing, or execution.
  • Ensure consistency of promotional messaging, pricing accuracy, and brand standards across advertising assets.
  • Collaborate with merchants, graphic designers, and marketing leadership to support promotional execution.
  • Develop and deploy email marketing campaigns supporting monthly promotions, loyalty initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and special events.
  • Support audience segmentation, targeting, and performance analysis of email campaigns.
  • Support growth of customer engagement initiatives across digital channels and recommend improvements based on data.
  • Contribute to the development of new digital marketing initiatives and customer engagement strategies.
  • Support KPI tracking, reporting, and analysis for digital marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer reach, engagement, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Assist with development and distribution of in store signage, event marketing materials, and special promotional assets as needed.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Content Creation, or related marketing field.
  • Experience managing branded social media accounts and executing multi channel digital campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of brand standards, promotional messaging, and customer facing marketing communications.
  • Experience creating digital content using Canva or similar creative design platforms.
  • Experience using social media scheduling and publishing tools; Meltwater is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign deployment; Tekside or similar software preferred.
  • Understanding of digital marketing analytics, customer engagement metrics, and campaign performance reporting.
  • Experience supporting promotional campaigns, loyalty marketing programs, or customer engagement initiatives preferred.
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast paced retail environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross functionally with merchants, designers, store teams, and external partners.
  • Intermediate knowledge of advertising principles, promotional marketing, and retail branding.
  • Intermediate knowledge of website or e commerce content management preferred.
  • Previous video editing, photography, or short form content creation experience considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Tools and technologies include Canva, Meltwater, Tekside, Microsoft Office, Excel.
