Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator role at Xylem, based onsite in Texarkana, Arkansas, supports brand strategy and customer engagement by coordinating marketing literature, digital assets, events, and digital marketing activities.
Responsibilities
- Literature and promotional item coordination: Oversee the full lifecycle of sales literature and promotional item fulfillment, handling orders and requests and documenting the complete request-to-delivery workflow to ensure continuity. Maintain a tracking system that captures all literature requests, monitors inventory levels, and reorders materials as needed.
- Marketing literature coordination: Manage catalogs, spec sheets, installation instructions, and other marketing collateral, ensuring content remains current, accurate, and reflective of the latest product and company information.
- Digital asset management: Maintain digital assets in Bynder, applying ALT tags, titles, descriptions, and keyword tags per established standards. Update online assets as necessary and flag outdated or missing assets for review by the Sales Operations & Marketing Manager.
- On-site event coordination: Coordinate on-site employee events, including sourcing and ordering required items, decorating, event photography, and related tasks. Manage decor and setup for special events and communicate status and any issues to the Sales Operations & Marketing Manager.
- Digital marketing coordination: Coordinate digital marketing activities, such as scheduling social media posts and creating and distributing Marketo newsletters, in line with the overall marketing strategy and brand standards.
- Plant photography and videography: Capture photos and videos of plant operations, products, events, and facilities for use in marketing materials, social media, and other company communications.
- Content accessibility: Ensure all marketing content, including digital assets, literature, and online materials, meets accessibility requirements.
- Tradeshow coordination: Serve as the coordinator for tradeshow logistics, participate in Xylem tradeshow team calls, arrange shipping of booth materials and product samples, and track deadlines to meet all tradeshow requirements on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign); and Canva.
- Basic understanding of SEO or metadata tagging.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools such as Marketo.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
