Job Description

The Marketing Content Coordinator supports the Content Center of Excellence at Great Day Improvements: A Family of Brands by coordinating digital content across multiple brands. This hybrid role manages content requests end to end, including scheduling, approvals, publishing, asset organization, quality assurance, and monthly performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate content requests from intake through assignment, asset collection, review, approval, publication, and closeout, ensuring deliverables, ownership, priorities, and deadlines are clearly defined.
  • Maintain content calendars, project trackers, approval statuses, and publishing schedules, proactively flagging overdue tasks, missing information, and workflow risks.
  • Manage handoffs across Brand & Creative Operations, brand marketing, Organic Growth & Reputation, Owned Digital Experience, and channel owners to support timely delivery.
  • Schedule and publish approved content across organic social media, websites, blogs, Google Business Profiles, and other digital platforms in line with approved timelines and channel requirements.
  • Perform pre- and post-publication quality checks for spelling, grammar, formatting, links, calls to action, imagery, promotional details, product and service information, brand terminology, and claims accuracy against approved sources.
  • Build brand knowledge of products, services, differentiators, and approved messaging to identify inaccuracies, recommend corrections, and escalate unverified claims or compliance concerns.
  • Upload, tag, categorize, and organize approved photos, videos, graphics, and other files in the enterprise digital asset management system, ensuring accurate naming, version control, and searchability.
  • Keep complete records of content requests, approvals, completed deliverables, and publishing activity, providing stakeholders with timely status updates and basic activity reports.
  • Identify recurring workflow bottlenecks, missed handoffs, and rework, and recommend process improvements to increase content throughput and visibility.
  • Compile monthly brand performance reports covering organic marketing metrics by channel, highlighting changes, trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.
  • Summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations to support content optimization and future marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong organization, prioritization, follow-through, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines across brands.
  • Strong proofreading and written communication skills, including the judgment to separate routine corrections from items requiring escalation.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, communicate status clearly, and follow up proactively on missing information or approvals.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 and spreadsheet- or tracker-based project coordination.
  • Basic understanding of digital publishing and SEO concepts, along with a willingness to learn each brand’s products, services, customer experience, and approved messaging as part of ongoing quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, social scheduling platforms, project management tools, Google Business Profile workflows, or digital asset management systems.
  • Relevant internship, academic, or professional experience supporting marketing, communications, digital content, project coordination, or a similar function. Recent graduates with comparable hands-on experience may be considered.
