Internal Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Internal Marketing Specialist role based onsite in Minneapolis, with a salary range of USD 45,000 to 50,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain a marketing calendar two months in advance across core channels.
- Translate quarterly themes into monthly topics and weekly action plans.
- Keep the calendar organized and identify gaps or issues during monthly reviews.
- Content Creation and Publishing
- Publish one weekly SEO/GEO blog aligned to brand messaging.
- Produce one to three videos per week for LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Repurpose existing content into social posts, email campaigns, and sales collateral.
- Ensure all content is optimized, accurate, and on brand.
- Website, SEO, and GEO Support
- Perform monthly reviews of SEO performance, site health, and content accuracy.
- Track conversions and analyze performance using Google Analytics and related tools.
- Recommend improvements to search visibility, user experience, and conversions.
- Social Media and Online Visibility
- Support LinkedIn growth and overall online presence.
- Maintain a monthly posting and engagement schedule.
- Monitor performance and adjust strategies based on results.
- Sales and Recruiting Support
- Create marketing materials to support sales and recruiting initiatives.
- Assist with one major quarterly initiative such as a webinar, campaign, or resource.
- Gather feedback and refine materials based on usage.
- Brand and Marketing Maintenance
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and currency of marketing materials.
- Maintain a library of approved messaging and proof points.
- Update or remove outdated or off brand materials.
- Thought Leadership and External Visibility
- Identify quarterly opportunities for external visibility, such as articles, events, or podcasts.
- Support preparation and track outcomes of those opportunities.
- Candidate Marketing Strategic Project
- Assist in developing and rolling out a candidate-focused marketing plan.
- Help define audiences, messaging, and channels for candidate marketing.
Requirements
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects concurrently.
- Capability to translate strategic direction into concrete marketing work.
- Willingness to learn quickly, ask good questions, and improve through feedback.
- Interest in content marketing, SEO/GEO, social media, video, website content, and digital marketing.
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics; readiness to learn tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, CMS platforms, and social media platforms.
- Comfort using AI tools to support research, outlines, drafting, repurposing, video creation, and reporting while keeping final judgment human-led.
- Basic design abilities using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms.
- Professionalism, integrity, curiosity, and ability to collaborate with sales, recruiting, leadership, and operations.
- Ability to lead and propose new initiatives with feedback to leverage marketing for business goals.
- Commitment to staying informed on marketing developments, trends, and emerging technologies.
