Head of Marketing (Hybrid)
Job Description
Head of Marketing to build and own Fixated's brand presence across creators and brands/agencies from Beverly Hills, CA (hybrid); architect the marketing function, lead events and messaging, manage internal and external communications and PR, oversee social channels, and align cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Shape and maintain Fixated's brand voice, visual identity, and market positioning across all touchpoints.
- Develop two parallel messaging tracks: one for creators about building their business with Fixated, and one for brands and agencies about efficient, scalable partnerships.
- Own content and copy standards to ensure every external touchpoint reflects the Fixated brand at a high standard.
- Oversee events strategy, from creator activations to industry conferences and Fixated hosted events.
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, including sponsorships, experiential programming, creator appearances, and brand integrations.
- Represent Fixated at key industry moments and cultivate relationships with media, conference organizers, and ecosystem partners.
- Serve as primary liaison to the external PR firm, guiding strategy, pitches, and coverage targets across trade and consumer press.
- Manage internal communications to keep the wider team aligned, informed, and energized around milestones and culture.
- Draft and supervise press materials, executive communications, announcements, and thought leadership content.
- Develop a proactive earned media plan that positions Fixated founders and leaders as voices in the creator economy.
- Directly lead the social media function, setting strategy, cadence, and performance benchmarks for Fixated’s channels.
- Ensure the social presence reflects roster quality and company culture rather than a corporate afterthought.
- Create creator-adjacent content that bridges the Fixated brand with audiences our creators serve.
- Build the marketing function from the ground up, selecting tools, processes, and a team structure aligned with growth.
- Define KPIs for brand awareness, earned media, event ROI, and social performance, with regular leadership reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Creator Partnerships, Content, and Community teams to align marketing with business objectives.
Requirements
- Eight plus years in marketing, with a meaningful track record in the creator economy, media, entertainment, or a brand-side role with heavy influencer/digital focus.
- Genuine understanding of the creator ecosystem, including major players, business dynamics, and what creators and audiences respond to.
- Proven experience managing PR agency relationships and driving earned media at scale.
- Strong event planning and experiential marketing capabilities, delivering programs that move the needle.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, capable of distilling a fast-moving company into crisp narratives for diverse audiences.
- Experience managing direct reports and building small but high-performing teams.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and at pace, with the ability to set the agenda and drive initiatives.
- Familiarity with the brand and agency ecosystem is a plus, understanding how media buyers, brand marketers, and agency planners view creator partnerships.
- Existing relationships across the creator industry, media, and brand marketing communities.
