Job Description

Union Square Advertising is seeking a Field Sales and Marketing Representative to drive growth on Long Island by linking hospitality and B2B clients with tailored advertising solutions. This onsite, part-time role centers on prospecting, client engagement, and closing opportunities within hotels, restaurants, and related businesses across the island.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients in Long Island's hospitality sector and B2B space, initiating contact to create new business opportunities for Union Square Advertising.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality businesses, assess their advertising needs, and present customized solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date understanding of the agency’s services and how they benefit hospitality clients, and clearly convey these offerings to prospects.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations highlighting the advantages of advertising with Union Square Advertising for both hospitality and B2B segments.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing to secure favorable agreements with hospitality clients.
  • Market Research: Monitor hospitality industry trends, competitive activity, and local market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Customer Retention: Build long-term relationships with existing hospitality clients, ensure ongoing satisfaction, and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional advertising services.

Requirements

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, especially within hospitality or related sectors.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for presenting ideas and negotiating with hospitality professionals.
  • Self-Motivated and Autonomous: Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Long Island's hospitality landscape.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with hospitality clients.

Working Hours

Part-time, flexible hours to accommodate client meetings and networking events within the Long Island hospitality sector.

Compensation

Salary: USD 400 - 600 per week
