Job Description
The Casino Marketing Manager leads the Relationship Marketing function for Live! Casino Maryland onsite in Hanover, supervising VIP and Executive Hosts while designing programs to attract and retain high-value players, all within budget and ROI targets.
Overview
The Casino Relationship Marketing Manager serves as a key resource to the Vice President of Casino Relationship Marketing, with the aim of establishing Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland as the premier gaming and entertainment venue in the Mid-Atlantic. The role focuses on driving revenue growth aligned with property plans and cross-property goals, while improving program margins through prudent reinvestment and expense management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the VIP and Executive Host teams, with indirect oversight of Senior Executive Hosts.
- Assist in managing the Relationship Marketing budget and related financial planning.
- Develop programs, processes, and events to attract and retain VIP players as Live! Casino Maryland’s primary gaming and entertainment destination.
- Create ROI-driven programs and processes for player attraction and retention that outperform regional competitors.
- Foster open communication and strong working relationships with peer groups across all operational areas.
- Manage the department’s financial data and reporting.
- Review activities and promotions with the Vice President of Casino Marketing to align with strategy.
- Develop and manage programs for customer service and recognition of VIP players, focusing on new and repeat VIPs.
- Monitor performance against local competition and collaborate with departmental directors and managers as needed.
- Provide training, participate in interviews for hires, prepare schedules, and conduct performance evaluations for VIP Hosts and Relationship Marketing team members.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities for complex challenges.
- Knowledge and experience with player tracking systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications.
- A four-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Five to seven years of experience across gaming, Player Development, casino operations, and marketing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission.
