Job Description

Enchanted Botanicals is seeking a proactive Cannabis Marketing and Event Coordinator to elevate the brand across digital channels, regional activations, and our on-site cannabis smoking lounge. This role centers on social media, event programming, and maintaining rigorous compliance to keep every initiative aligned with regulatory requirements. Based in Albuquerque, NM, the position is onsite and requires a bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Outreach & Automation: Plan and execute SMS, MMS, and email campaigns using Alpine IQ to drive lounge event tickets, announce product drops, and boost retention.
  • Loyalty Program Growth: Develop and optimize Alpine IQ segments, rewards tiers, and audience lists to target lounge visitors and retail clients with tailored promotions.
  • Budtender & Staff Incentives: Build, launch, and monitor sales incentive campaigns via Sparkplug to motivate lounge hosts, budtenders, and brand ambassadors.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Review Sparkplug and Alpine IQ analytics to quantify ROI for marketing campaigns, events, and staff performance.
  • Lounge Event Production: Coordinate and host a regular calendar of engaging, compliant events within the cannabis lounge, including product launches, workshops, and industry mixers.
  • On-Site Hospitality & Execution: Lead the lounge events as host, manage registration and logistics, and coordinate with internal staff to ensure excellent guest experiences.
  • Off-Site Regional Activations: Manage setup, execution, and teardown for external B2B/B2C events, dispensary pop-ups, trade shows, and partnerships.
  • Continuous Exposure Strategy: Schedule and optimize daily Instagram and Snapchat content (grid posts, Stories, Reels) to maintain top-of-mind brand visibility.
  • Active Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to inbound social interactions to cultivate a responsive, engaged digital community.
  • Trend Monitoring & Growth: Track cannabis-related trends and cultural moments to weave the lounge and products into relevant conversations.
  • Shadowban & Compliance Mitigation: Craft captions and use hashtags to maximize organic reach while adhering to platform guidelines for cannabis content.
  • Promotion Coordination: Collaborate with brand partners and distributors to build promotional calendars, samplings, and cooperative lounge activations.
  • Compliance Auditing: Record event discounts and vendor payouts in the POS system in line with state traceability rules.
  • ROI Evaluation: Assess ROI for vendor and company-backed events by comparing costs and payouts to final sales data.
  • E-Commerce & Live Menu Updates: Maintain live product menus across Dutchie, Weedmaps, and Leafly with accurate pricing, THC/CBD, and strain descriptions.
  • Local Directory Audits: Manage local listings and citations to keep lounge hours, event dates, and addresses current.
  • Review Moderation: Monitor reviews and feedback, coordinating with the Head of Marketing to respond professionally and route issues appropriately.
  • Digital Asset Continuity: Ensure banners, widgets, and landing pages reflect current lounge events and marketing initiatives.
  • Regional Field Presence: Travel within the designated region to visit retailers, source vendors, and represent the brand at industry events.
  • On-Site Execution: Transport, set up, and tear down marketing materials for off-site and on-site lounge activations.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Be available for non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to align with peak events and lounge hours.

Requirements

  • Age: 21 years or older to comply with state cannabis licensing.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, Hospitality, Event Management, or an equivalent combination of field experience.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in social media management, digital content creation, or event coordination.
  • Digital Menu & SEO Literacy: Experience with cannabis marketplaces (Dutchie, Weedmaps) and managing Google Business Profile listings.
  • Technical Cannabis Tech Stack: Proficiency with cannabis CRM/loyalty software (Alpine IQ, Springbig) and gamified sales tools (Sparkplug).
  • Financial Literacy: Solid grasp of promotional math, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and inventory tracking.
  • Advanced Instagram Literacy: In-depth knowledge of cannabis algorithms, Reels editing, community management, and analytics tools.
  • Mobility: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle for transporting event materials.
  • Communication: Strong written skills aligned with brand voice and energetic, hospitality-first interpersonal abilities.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Pay: From $20.00 per hour
  • Location: Albuquerque, NM 87106 (Onsite)
  • Travel Availability: Willingness to travel up to 50% (Required)
