Job Description

Assistant Marketing Manager at Lumberjack Harley-Davidson in Lufkin, TX (onsite), supporting events, social media content, community partnerships and brand presence under the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of dealership events, on-site activations and local sponsorships.
  • Develop and schedule platform-specific content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok that aligns with the brand voice and drives engagement.
  • Coordinate artwork requests and assets with the design team, keeping organized tracking and clear communication.
  • Assist email marketing campaigns via our partner, including content preparation and list coordination.
  • Develop proposals for advertising opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to maximize advertising revenue.
  • Track social media performance, door traffic data and campaign ROI.
  • Support documentation and tracking for the Marketing Development Fund.
  • Handle day-to-day community engagement across platforms in the dealership voice.
  • Assist product management through market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
  • Assist budgeting for marketing projects to ensure efficient resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital or content marketing with solid multichannel strategy knowledge.
  • Strong proficiency in SEO, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent written communication with the ability to craft engaging captions and effective emails.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, community-facing environment.
  • Solid research and analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Photography and basic video editing skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite and email marketing platforms is preferred.
  • Genuine passion for community, events and storytelling.
  • Interest in the Harley-Davidson brand and lifestyle is a plus, but not required; a people-oriented mindset is valued.
